Community Conversations | Scenario Workshop

What should Midland look and feel like 25 years from now? That's the question at the heart of Community Vision: Midland 2050 , and this workshop is one of the best ways to weigh in.

Instead of asking "what do you want?", we're going to explore four genuinely different possible futures for Midland, some comfortable, some more challenging, and ask a more useful question: what matters to you no matter which future comes true? The values and priorities that hold up across all four are the ones worth building a community vision around.

What to expect:

A plain-language introduction to the project and the four futures — no prior knowledge required

Small-group discussion using guided questions

A full-room report-back where we compare what different groups heard

Come as you are. All perspectives are welcome, and there's no wrong way to participate.

Three workshops are available, including a dedicated virtual session for youth (ages 14–18) and two all-ages community sessions. Spaces are limited, so register early to reserve your spot. Click on your choice of event to register:
