National Day of Truth & Reconciliation - 6th Annual Community Event

Event agenda:

5 p.m. - Traditional opening

5:15 p.m. - Storybook honour walk along the waterfront trail to Atherley Road returning to the park. Community information booths will be set up throughout the walk as pit stops. Each booth will honour a survivor story.

5:45 p.m. - Gathering at the field

6:00 p.m. - "I am Not a Number" author statement reading

6:30 p.m. - Guest speakers, closing honour song

A sacred fire will be lit at the event. A children's craft table will offer button making and creating cut out paper orange T-shorts. Nutrition and beverages to be provided.
