The Librarians: Film Screening & Discussion — Ontario Public Library Week Special Event

The Librarians is a documentary film that debuted at Sundance Film Festival in 2025, directed and produced by Kim A. Snyder: "As an unprecedented wave of book banning is sparked in Texas, Florida, and beyond, librarians under siege join forces as unlikely defenders fighting for intellectual freedom on the front lines of democracy." Join us at the Georgian Theatre for a free screening of the film, alongside a wide-ranging discussion with library professionals on challenges faced by public libraries and how best to support freedom of expression in your community.
