Barrie Fire Prevention staff will be on hand to promote the theme of this year's Fire Prevention Week : “Charge Into Fire Safety™. Safe Charging Is a Superpower ” and will focus on the everyday charging habits that can help reduce the risk of lithium-ion battery fires, and keep homes and communities safer. Staff will also share general fire safety tips for students. Stop by, ask questions, pick up free resources, and discover practical tips to prevent fires. We’ll also have information on smoke alarms, CO safety, and upcoming Barrie Fire programs.
