The Forbidden University: Documentary Screening and Q&A

Join us for a screening of the new documentary film The Forbidden University, followed by a Q&A with the Director. Learn about the courage of the students, volunteers, and professors who risk police raids and imprisonment to keep learning alive, turning education into an act of peaceful resistance. Since 1979, members of the Baháʼí faith have been systematically banned from pursuing higher education in Iran. In response, a secret, underground university was built in 1987--operating out of private basements, living rooms, and makeshift labs across the country. In partnership with Bradford Baháʼí Community.
