The Barrie Pipes and Drums invite the community to our annual Recruitment Open House on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. Whether you are an experienced player looking to join our parade or Grade 4 competition band, or a complete beginner wanting to learn, all ages and skill levels are welcome. Attendees will have the opportunity to: Meet our pipers, drummers, and instructors. See and hear the instruments up close. Try out a practice chanter or drum pads. Register for our complimentary, weekly beginner teaching programs. No musical background is required to start learning. Come out and discover a rewarding new hobby and a fantastic community group!
