Fall Bird Walk @ the Trails

Beginner-Friendly Bird Walk: Harbourview Park & Collingwood Arboretum. Come see the fall migration on a relaxed guided walk along Collingwood's waterfront. All ages and experience levels are welcome, and no birding knowledge is needed. We'll start by spotting ducks and other waterbirds on the harbour. Then we'll walk the boardwalk and Arboretum paths to look for warblers, kinglets, sparrows, and other songbirds heading south for the winter. Loaner binoculars are available, courtesy of Brampton Library. You're welcome to bring your own. Good to know: The pace is slow, with lots of stops. The route follows mostly paved paths and boardwalk, with a short gravel section. Mornings are cool, so dress in layers and bring water. Children must be with an adult. Dogs are welcome on leash. Washrooms at the park aren't confirmed, so please plan ahead. Free of charge. Led by Shey Smith (suburbirder).
