Additional Residential Units - What you need to know — In Collaboration with the City of Barrie

City Staff will provide information on: Planning your unit - What are the ARU planning and zoning requirements Building your unit - What are the building permit and inspection requirements for second suites (inside your home) and detached additional residential units (a separate unit on your property) Financing - Where and how to find available ARU funding options If you are unable to attend this session, the City will once again be hosting this workshop at our Downtown location on Feb 11th. Seating is limited so registration is encouraged to guarantee your spot but drop-ins are also welcome if space is available.
