Join us at Sainte-Marie among the Hurons for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, a day dedicated to learning, reflection, and remembrance . E xplore the history and lasting impacts of residential schools with survivor testimonials, guided experiences, guest speakers, traditional foodways, and film screenings.
Participate in meaningful ceremonies throughout the day, including a Sunrise Ceremony, Survivor Flag Raising, and Smudge Ceremony. Admission is free, and programming runs from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
