From the playful sparkle of Offenbach’s Orpheus in the Underworld to the unmistakable swing of Gershwin and Duke Ellington, this program explores how music moves, across genres, cultures, and traditions. Holiday colour and seasonal energy weave through the concert, alongside jazz, waltz, Broadway, and orchestral favourites that bring brightness, humour, and lightness to the stage. Each work shifts character and style as the orchestra moves between elegance and exuberance, nostalgia and celebration—inviting audiences into a world where music is always in motion.
