Festivals & Events Roundtable: Connect, Learn and Share

Join Tourism Simcoe County for our next Festivals and Events Roundtable, an opportunity for event organizers, municipalities, and industry partners to connect, exchange ideas, and learn from one another.

This session will feature the upcoming Sustainable Events Guide & Checklist, developed by Tourism Simcoe County in partnership with Synergy Enterprises. The guide provides practical actions that organizers can implement before, during, and after an event to support more sustainable event planning and operations.

We'll also hear from the Mariposa Folk Festival, a great example of sustainability in action, as they share insights, lessons learned, and initiatives that have helped reduce their environmental impact while enhancing the attendee experience.

Beyond the presentations, this roundtable is designed to foster collaboration and networking among festival and event organizers from across Simcoe County. Participants will have the opportunity to share challenges, discuss trends, discover new ideas, and build connections with peers and partners.
